We find it thrilling to be working with local schools in Barnet, helping them with their Cake Competitions.
Working with a number of local schools we hope to help stimulate enthusiasm for home economics and cake baking. This has been amongst school children of all ages and ability.
Competitions
We take great pleasure in supporting school cake competitions. We often provide Hopscotch Prizes in the form of Certificates and Gift Vouchers. Another way we can help is by offering discounts on tools and materials such as colours and sugar paste for all entrants.
Competitions vary widely, from informal annual events, to GCSE food tech. projects. Please let us know if you would like more information or discuss how you could be involved in any way.
In addition to competitions we also have several formal Work Experience opportunities each year. These give students an insight in to running a business. GCSE and A Level Business Studies students often use us as a case study. So in order to help them we will always try to find time to answer their questions.
